Teaching and Learning Highlights

Our department utilize the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGFU) model. Rather than focusing on rote drills, students are placed in modified game situations that require critical thinking and real-time decision-making. This approach shifts the focus from 'how to move' to 'why and when to move', thereby fostering deeper tactical intelligence.

To bridge the gap between theory and practice, our department use digital analysis tools. Students use tablets for real-time video analysis and peer feedback, which allows them to visualize biomechanics and refine their techniques through evidence-based reflection.

We want to get kids excited about fitness, so our department has lots of different activities on offer. We do this by adding new emerged sports, like Kin-ball, Dodgebee, etc. This helps students to see new possibilities and have fun. These new activities are great for all students, helping them to find new talents and interests that might be different from traditional sports. This experience not only improves physical skills but also encourages curiosity and confidence. We offer a wide range of sports so that every student can find one they like. This helps them to lead a healthy, active lifestyle.
