It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of Ho Lap College (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen). 

Established in 1969, Ho Lap College is a government-aided school. As the first school sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen, our school pledges to provide students with an all-round quality education and nurture talents for the community. In accordance with the philosophy of Sik Sik Yuen, our school upholds the principles and teachings of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. Our school motto is 'To act benevolently and to teach benevolence'. We are committed to grooming our students to be responsible citizens and will contribute proactively to the international and local communities. We are also dedicated to promoting the moral, intellectual, physical, social, and aesthetic development of our students, helping them become competent and well-rounded individuals. 

Our mission is achieved by fostering our core values, represented by the initials of our school—HLC. 

H represents Harmony, which includes the values of Love, Care and Courtesy. We believe that a harmonious school environment nurtures empathy, patience and understanding. We can maintain peaceful relationships with our family, teachers and schoolmates. 

L represents Liveliness, which includes the values of Courage, Creativity and Confidence. We believe that a lively spirit inspires us to be courageous, creative and confident. Being enthusiastic learners, we are capable of thinking outside the box and facing adversity with a growth mindset and a proactive approach. We are resilient and ready to tackle challenges. 

C represents Commitment, which includes the values of Responsibility, Determination and Lifelong Learning. We believe that being committed means that we are conscientious when taking responsibility for our actions and decisions, demonstrating determination in all our endeavors. It fosters a lifelong learning mindset. We are capable of remaining adaptable in a rapidly evolving world.
